Georgia
Dorset Mumbler is a one-stop shop for families to find all the information they need for activities, support and so much more, in Dorset, run by a local parent.
Georgia has lived in Dorset for almost ten years and loves the area and all it has to offer, so is really keen to help other families explore! Georgia has a son who has just turned two, so spends a lot of time visiting different places in the county, trying to tire him out…
Georgia used to work in shipping, so this is quite a change! However, being able to get all the information a parent needs for the local area, in one place, is so helpful and so Dorset Mumbler has begun, just in time for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Aside from toddler wrangling, Georgia loves running (slowly!), and can often be found on the trails in the local area or out with her running club.
Meet the Rest of the Team:
Emma
Emma is a Yorkshire girl, born and bred, originally from the vale of York but settled in Harrogate eight years ago with her husband Dan and two small children Joseph & Holly. She didn’t know a soul in Harrogate when they moved and the Harrogate Mumbler Facebook Group and website were an absolute lifesaver for her in those early days for classes, mum meet-ups, advice and support!
Emma spent the majority of her career, before children in retail sales, working across buying functions in food and home, for a major supermarket. When her children were born she really wanted the best of both worlds, to go back to work but also enjoy precious time with them so she went part-time and has worked in project management, managed her own local food franchise and then most recently she has spent the last years as a digital marketer for local businesses.
Emma will be covering Sales for BCP & Dorset Mumbler and she can’t wait to get stuck in and help businesses really connect with local mums, dads, carers and grandparents.
